John Lee Norville, age 68 of Hiawassee Georgia departed this life and entered into eternity Saturday, November 2, 2019. John was born June 2, 1951, in Peoria Illinois. John served seven years in the US Air Force, where he spent time in Texas, California, Turkey and Arizona. John worked as an Xray and Ultra Sound Technician for many years working at hospitals in California, Tennessee and Georgia. In 2004 John decided to change careers and worked as a Massage and Reflexology Therapist until he passed.
John is survived by his wife of 48 years Terry Norville of Hiawassee Georgia; His two sons and daughter-in-laws Kelly and Tasha Norville of Young Harris Georgia; and Kevin and Shay Norville of Beaumont, California; Five Grandchildren, Charlee and Jasper Norville of Young Harris, Georgia; and Kevin, Torrey, and Tyler Norville of Beaumont, California and his aunt Joanne Boswell, Ellenwood Georgia. John was a giving man with a big heart and would always help those in need. He was a Friend, Husband, and Dad. However, the title that always put a smile on his face and brought him so much joy was Papaw.
Services to celebrate the life of John will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at McConnell Memorial Baptist Church 84 Church Street, Hiawassee, Ga 30546 Pastor Steve Taylor Officiating. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m.
