John Henry Turner

Mr. John Henry Turner, age 70 of Atlanta, passed away May 19, 2014 at Welstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta. Mr. Turner was born October 19, 1943 in Savannah, GA to the late Thomas Edwin Turner and the late Mary Edith Elmore . He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Priscilla Turner.

Survivors include: wife, Hazel Turner, son & daughter-in-law, John Henry (Patricia) Turner, Jr., brothers, David (Karen) Turner and Eddie (Jean) Turner and sister Delores Whaley along with several neices and nephews.

Funeral services: Friday, May 23, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Rice and Rev. Matt Cook officiating. Music provided by: The Heavenly Echoes. Interment will follow in the GA National Cemetery in Canton, GA. Pallbearers include Jerry Wilson, Billy Wilson, Joey Priest, Jody Wilson, David Baldwin and Lewis Smith. Military Honors by the North Georgia Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Thursday, May 22, 2014 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
