John Bryson "Johnny" Callihan, age 58, of Blue Ridge, passed away Friday, April 6, 2007 at Fannin Regional Hospital. Johnny was born Tuesday, January 25, 1949 in Fannin County to the late Herdis Callihan and the late Mary Elle Garrison Callihan. He was a US Army Veteran, a member of Blue Ridge United Methodist Church. Johnny was a long - time employee of Tri State E.M.C., being a supervisor, a job he took great pride in. He was an avid sports fan, who worked with kids in local sports programs. Another hobby he
enjoyed a lot was carpentry.
Survivors include: wife, Robbi Hyde Callihan of Blue Ridge, GA, daughter, Deanna Beth Callihan Ware of Morganton, GA, daughter, Katie Erin Callihan of Blue Ridge, GA, son, Sean Bryson Callihan of Blue Ridge, GA, brother, Winston Callihan of Cashes Valley, brother, Tommy Callihan of Cashes Valley, sister, Lillie Cole of Cashes Valley, sister, Wilma Jean Bossen of Cashes Valley, sister, Polly Keppel of Cashes Valley, sister, Lucy Donnelly of Powder Springs, sister, Clara Callihan of Cashes Valley, sister, Mary Ellen Callihan of Ellijay, sister, Joanie Stuart of Cashes Valley, grandchildren, Kelsie Shyanne Ware, and Conner Bryce Ware.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 9, 2007 at 4:00 PM from the Blue Ridge United Methodist Church with the Reverend John Brantley officiating. Music will be provided by Pat Miller, Blue Ridge Grass, nieces Rhonda Jacobs, Rachel Lovell and Magan Wood. Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery. Graveside Honors by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Pallbearers include: The following employees of Tri-State EMC, Steve Adams, Tom Ledford, Terry Arp, Anthony Hamby, Mike Earley, Buck Reece, Darrell Moore and Wesley Payne .
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9, Sunday, April 8.
