John Brian Newton, age 42 of Marble, passed away Friday, November 4, 2011. Mr. Newton was born January 3, 1969 in Cobb County, GA to John Clayton "J.C." Newton and Sallie Ruth Newton. He was a Gun collector, enjoyed restoring old cars and was an avid outdoorsman.
Survivors include: father and mother, John Clayton "J.C." Newton and Sallie Ruth Newton, daughter, Heather Newton, Brother, John Steven Newton, nephews, Greg Newton and Michael Newton along with many other family members and friends.
Funeral services: Sunday, November 6, 2011 at 3:00 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Mitchell Totherow officiating. Music by Mary Newton. Interment will follow in Little Brasstown Cemetery . Pallbearers: Greg Newton, Michael Newton, Jerry Cook, Jack Newton, Marvin Patterson, Marty Cook, Keith Gould and Ryan Mileti.
The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy, Sunday, November 06, 2011 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
