Joanne May Odendahl

Joanne May Odendahl, age 82 of Smyrna, GA passed away November 30, 2021, in Smyrna, GA. Mrs. Odendahl was born February 12, 1940, in Detroit, MI to the late Henry Mottin and the late Kathleen Oke Mottin. A member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church of Blue Ridge, GA, she enjoyed cross-stitching, gardening, cooking, and playing with her grandchildren.

Survivors include: husband, William Odendahl; sons, Mark (Shelli) Odendahl; John (Lisa) Odendahl; and Paul (Kathy) Odendahl; daughters, daughter, Christa (Leo) Evans; Jessica Stalker, and Erin (Jeremy) Thompson, son, Eric (Amanda) Odendahl; grandchildren, Mitchell Odendahl, Knox Odendahl, David Odendahl, Ashley Odendahl, Ryan Odendahl, Hunter Mae Stalker, Jackson Odendahl, and Gavin Odendahl; and her loving mixed puppy dog, Otis.


Funeral Mass: Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at 10:00 am at the St Anthony Catholic Church in Blue Ridge, GA with Father John Conway officiating.


Rosary Service: Monday, December 6, 2021, at 7:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home in McCaysville, GA


The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, GA Monday, December 6, 2021, from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm.


In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made in honor of Mrs. Odendahl to St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Blue Ridge, GA.
