JoAnn Ware Arp, age 77, of Mc Caysville, GA, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at her home. JoAnn was born July 11, 1933 in Fannin County, GA to Carl Wayne Ware, Sr. and Edna Williams Ware. She was a member of the Williamstown United Methodist Church in McCaysville, GA.
Survivors include: daughter, Diane Burden and husband, Mike of Anderson, SC; daughter, Denise Nelson and husband, Gene of McCaysville, GA; daughter, Cindy Godfrey and husband, Rene of McCaysville, GA; daughter, Carla Sparks and husband,Terry of Ducktown, TN; brothers, Tommy Ware of McCaysville, GA and, Carl Ware Jr. of Knoxville, TN; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services: Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Carl Ware, Jr. and Lori Etheridge officiating. Pallbearers: Adam Born, Steve Holt, Bert Nelson, Bart Nelson, Jack Godfrey, Jacobs Sparks, Joey Sparks, and Darean Cool. Burial will follow in the Copper Ridge Memorial Cemetery.
The Arp Family will meet with family and friends, Friday evening from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
