Joan Clark Tutman

Joan Clark Tutman, 82, of Blairsville, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA. Joan was born November 6, 1939, in San Jose, CA to John Clark and Elaine Clark.  

Joan was family-oriented and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a travel enthusiast who enjoyed meeting new people. Joan and her husband, Jerry, spent over 40 years traveling, many years as full-time RVers. She was Vice President of the Board of Directors of Arrowhead RV Resort. She loved red wine, dining out, crafting, and dancing. She was an avid Miami Heat basketball fan.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Clark; mother, Elaine Clark; sister, Barbara Clark; and son, Gordon Tutman.  She is survived by her  spouse Gerald of 64 years, brother George (Koona) Clark, and children, Naomi (Juergen) Poehler, Jeff (Jennifer) Tutman, and Jackie Lehle. Joan is also survived by her grandchildren Christopher (Ashlan) Tutman, Jeffery (Anna) Tutman, Emma Tutman, James Kingsley, Danielle Lehle, Nicole (Joe) Drescher, Marcus (Claire) Poehler, and Nicholas (Paige) Poehler; great-grandchildren, Cason Tutman, Cora Tutman, Otto Tutman, Jasper Poehler, Jordan Poehler, Hayes Poehler, and Henry Drescher.

Funeral services:
Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 18, at 3:00 pm at Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville. Dr. Tom Jordan will officiate.

There will be a gathering in the Ball Room of the Union County Community Center, located at 129 Union County Recreation Road, at 4:00 pm.
