Jo Carolyn Beebe

Jo Carolyn Beebe, age 85, of Hiawassee, Georgia, passed away August 6, 2023, at her home. Jo Carolyn was born September 23, 1937, in Baldwyn, MS to Joe Forest and Mary  Blanche Ricks Anderson. 

She worked in Christian Education for many years as Director of Christian Education at the First United Methodist Church in Hamilton, Ohio.  She was a member of Sharp United Methodist Church in Young Harris, Georgia. 

Jo Carolyn was preceded in death by father, Joe Anderson; mother, Mary Blanche Ricks Anderson.

She is survived by her husband John Beebe; daughter Jeannine Beebe; daughter Jennifer Beebe-Singleton; daughter Joanna Eberhardt; son-in-law Steve James; son-in-law Jason Singleton; son-in-law Rob Eberhardt; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 3:00pm in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Hiawassee, Georgia.  The family will be receiving friends at the Cochran Funeral Home in Hiawassee on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 2:00pm until the 3:00pm funeral service hour.  Interment will follow the service in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Hiawassee, Georgia.  

The following gentlemen will be serving as Pallbearers: Jason Singleton, Rob Eberhardt, Forrest Brown, Alexander Eberhardt, Joseph Eberhardt and Thomas Jannett.
