Jimmy Glenn Russell

Mr. Jimmy Glenn Russell, age 77 of Mineral Bluff, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2011 at at his home following a period of declining health . Mr. Russell was born December 29, 1933 in Fannin, GA to the late John B. Russell and the late Bessie Godfrey Russell. He attended Copperhill First United Methodist, had retired from from Blue Ridge Telephone Company in 1997 and was a US Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Russell, Martha Russell, Ruth Ella Russell, Margie Elrod, Betty Roper and Linda Breedlove, brothers, James Russell, J. B. Russell and Charles Russell..

Survivors include: wife, Shirley Russell, Brother, Jackie Russell, Brother, Joe Russell, nieces, nephews and honorary family the 1958 Class of Young Harris College.

Memorial service was Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 3:00 pm at the Copperhill First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jennings Neeld, Rev. David Anderson, and Rev. T. Reamsynder officiating. Pianist was Jerrie Sue Massengale.
