Jewell Jarrard McClure

Mrs. Jewell Jarrard McClure, age 72, of Woodstock, Georgia, formerly of Hiawassee, Georgia, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011. Mrs. McClure was born June 12, 1939, in Young Harris, Georgia, to the late Emmett Jarrard and Kathryn Wright Jarrard. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Mrs. McClure was preceded in death by her husband, Frank McClure and father, Emmett Jarrard; and two brothers: Harold Jarrard and Aaron Jarrard.

Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Sandy McClure of Hiawassee, son and daughter-in-law, Darren and Tresha McClure of Hiawassee, mother, Kathryn Waugh of Bloomingdale, TN, sister, Jeanette Nicholson of Homer, GA, sister, Drenda Pierson of Rogersville, TN, Brother, Roy Jarrard of Kingsport, TN, Brother, Monty Jarrard of Bloomingdale, TN, grandchildren, Craig McClure, Ashley McClure, Franklin Casey McClure and Sheena Brooks and great grandchildren, Kylee Brooks, Langston Brooks and Ara Brooks.

Funeral services: Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Ledford officiating. Music will be provided by Mr. Bobby Taylor. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers: Roy Jarrard, Monty Jarrard, Craig McClure, Franklin Casey McClure, Hugh Nicholson and Cayman Brooks.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee, Friday, December 02, 2011 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
