Jessie M. Hudson (Crofton)

Mrs. Jessie M. Hudson, age 88 of Young Harris, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. Mrs. Hudson was born November 16, 1922 in Dover, FL to the late Joseph Crofton and the late Minnie Smith Crofton . She and her husband, John, moved to Young Harris in 1996, coming from the Tampa, Florida area. Bowling was one of Jessie's favorite hobbies. She was preceeded in death by a granddaughter, Donna Evans and 5 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include: husband, John Hudson of Young Harris, sons, Roy Eugene (Sandra) Barco of Plant City, FL and Jimmie Ray (Norma) Barco of Blairsville, daughter, Linda Baker of Dallas, TX, sister, Virginia Young of Tampa, grandsons, Jimmy Barco, Jeff Barco and Gregory Baker and granddaughters, Sherri Register and Stephanie Baker Graham. 9 great grandchildren also survive.

Graveside services: Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 10:00 am at the Laurel Hills Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Bob Crowe officiating.
