Jessie Elizabeth Ashe, age 88, of McCaysville, GA passed away Friday, February 12, 2010 at the Copper Basin Life Care Center in Ducktown, TN.
Jessie was born on Saturday, December 3, 1921 in Fannin County, GA, to Bass and Susie Sisson Ashe. She was a member of Staffertown Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, John, twin brother James, and Charles Ashe, and one sister, Ina Caylor.
Survivors include: one sister Ruby Ashe of Ducktown, TN; niece and husband, Anna Belle & Western Green of Copperhill, TN. Other nieces and nephews and family members also survive.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 4:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, on Airport Rd. in Copperhill, TN with Reverend John Wynn officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 2:00 pm until time of service.
