Jess Bevins

November 28, 1961 — February 1, 2023

Jess Samuel Bevins, 61, of Andrews NC died Feb 1st, 2023, after a short illness. He was primarily a lifelong resident of Cherokee Co, living in Georgia a few years in the '80s. He had done telephone work, construction and worked in the mines in SC. He'd been retired since 2010 to take of his wife until her death in 2019.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, tending his garden and spending time with his grandkids and many friends he made through the years. He led a simple life and wouldn't want it any other way.

He is proceeded in death by his wife, Bonnie Bevins. And his parents, Dave and Frances Bevins. He is survived by one brother, Ronnie Bevins of Marble. And 3 sisters, Janice Lunsford, Carolyn Bevins and Phyllis Bevins all of Andrews. His stepson David Radney of Sarasota Fl. His stepdaughter, Angela Dailey and his grandkids Skye Raxter, Bristol Dailey, Camden Roberts and his great grandkids River and Ryder Bennett all of Andrews. Along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life memorial service will be Sunday Feb.19th at Cornerstone Church on Robinson Rd in Andrews. Visitation is at 2pm and service begins at 3pm.
