Jerry Frank Deyton

Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory announces funeral services for Mr. Jerry Frank Deyton, age 75, of Cumming, Georgia, who passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 19th, 2018. Jerry was the son of the late Lowell and Dollie Taylor Deyton. He was preceded in death by sister, Jean Mathis, and brothers, Jack Deyton and Gerald Deyton.

Surviving are his two daughters and son-in-laws: Cindy (Robert) Denton and Amanda (Brad) Gurnick; three grandsons, Joseph, Justin, and Jamie Denton and one granddaughter, Amanda Gerald. Also surviving are sisters, Jeanette Jones, Frances Henson, Jo Davis, Nell Powell, Lynn (Joseph) Zeitouni and brothers, Jimmy Deyton, Billy (Sandra) Deyton and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Jerry Deyton will be held at 11:00 a.m, on Saturday, December 22nd, 2018, in the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Blairsville, with Jerry's nephew, Dr. Tim Deyton, officiating. Special music will be provided by nieces, Leslie Hughes and Melissa Collins. Burial will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: grandsons: Joseph Denton, Justin Denton and Jamie Denton; nephews, Zachary Meadows and Sam Meadows.

The family will meet with friends Friday, December 21st from 6 until 8 p.m. at Cochran Funeral Home.
