Jerry Deuane Hedden

Mr. Jerry Deuane Hedden, age 66 of Morganton, passed away August 26, 2012. Mr. Hedden was born December 10, 1945, in Franklin, NC to the late Mr. and Mrs. G.D. and Pearl Miller Hedden. He was a member of Crossover Community Church. Mr. Hedden was a coach in Fannin County for 28 years. He is preceded in death by brother, Roland Keener.

Survivors include: wife, Linda Lance Hedden, son, Chris Hedden, daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Kevin Bundy, sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Sam Leinbach, sister and brother-in-law, Polly and Mack McCoy, brother, Roy Keener, brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Paulette Keener, two grandchildren also survive, Kaylee and Luke Bundy.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at 2:00PM from the Crossover Community Church, with the Rev. Rick Cortis and Rev. Jeff Beavers officiating. Music will be provided by Dereck Rosas . Interment will follow in the Morganton Baptist Church Cemetery . Pallbearers will be Kevin Lance, Richard Daves, Sarandy Gaitanoglou, Randy Hallmark, Larry Lance, Gary Lance, John Gaitanoglou, Lee Peters and Myron Ryder. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of Coach's former players.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Monday, August 27, 2012, from 6:00PM-9:00PM. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Crossover Community Church Building Fund.
