Jerry Alton Stepp

Mr. Jerry Alton Stepp, age 57, of Epworth, Georgia, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2007 at the Copper Basin Medical Center. Mr. Stepp was born Friday, September 8, 1950 in Fannin Co., GA to the late Elmer John Stepp and the late Emlee Foster Stepp. Jerry attended Bethany and Sugar Creek Churches and he loved the outdoors.
Survivors include: wife, Martha Stepp of Epworth, GA, son, Thomas Stepp of Epworth, GA, son, Terry Stepp of Epworth, GA, granddaughters, Nina and Daisy Stepp, sisters, Faye Miller of Epworth, GA, Sharon Watkins of Ellijay, GA, and Joan Stepp of Chatsworth, GA, mother-in-law, Ruby Banks of Ellijay, GA; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 22, 2007 at 4:00 from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Reverend Jimmy Dickey and Reverend Billy Ray Queen officiating. Music will be provided by Renee Watkinis. Interment will follow in Colwell Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: David Miller, James Miller, John Miller, Jason Dickey, Danny Patterson, Steve Dickey. Honorary pallbearers include: Harold Weeks, and Joe Dickey.
The Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
