Jeremy "Jerry" Zack Massey

Mr. Jeremy Zack Massey, known as "Jerry", age 50, of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022 in Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia.

Mr. Massey was born in Decatur, Georgia, a son of the late Rolyn S. Massey and Barry Massey. He was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church of Watkinsville, Georgia. He was loved by everyone he knew, and they enjoyed his dry sense of humor. He enjoyed woodworking and furniture making, especially Mission style, and working around his cabin and fishing in the pond; he just enjoyed being outdoors. His father, Rolyn, passed away in October, 2021.

Surviving family members include his mother, Barry Massey; a sister, Susan (Jason) Patrick; and other extended family members.

Graveside services for family only were held Wednesday, January 26th, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., in Union Baptist Church Cemetery, with Dr. Jon Jacobs officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Jason Patrick and Jeff Gehman.

Memorial donations may be directed to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, in honor of Ashleigh Godfrey.
