Jeremy James DeWitt

Mr. Jeremy James DeWitt, age 35, of Ducktown, TN, passed away February 10, 2014 at the Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Jeremy was born March 26, 1978 in Blue Ridge, GA to the late Charles DeWitt and Denise DeWitt Nicholson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Kemp and Joyce O'Neal, and grandmother, Shirley DeWitt. Jeremy enjoyed working as a River Guide on the Ocoee River. He also enjoyed working on cars and traveling.

Survivors include: grandfather, George DeWitt, sister, Jessica Stanley, brother, Shannon DeWitt, daughters, Kimberly Dewitt, and Aubrie DeWitt McDaris, aunts and uncles, Lucy and Tim Hopkins, Diane and Lynn Hawkins, Amanda and Wayne Chadwell and Holly Williams also one niece, two nephews and cousins.

A memorial Mass will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 11:00 am at the St. Mark's Episcopal Church with Rev. Christina Brannock and Rev. Claude officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
