Jennifer Burk

Jennifer Lee Burk, age 38, of Turtletown, Tennessee, passed away on August 2, 2024 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was born on February 28, 1986, in Copperhill, Tennessee to Robert Frank Burk and Cynthia Ann Burk.

Jennifer always had a smile on her face and caused others to smile. You always knew where she stood on an issue, and she was quick to share her opinion. Family ties were very important to her. She had a special brother-sister relationship with Frank and with all her stepbrothers and sisters. She loved her nieces and nephews. Jennifer enjoyed country and gospel music and sang at her church in praise and worship.

She is survived by her father, Robert Frank Burk and stepmother, Kelley; brothers, Frank T. Burk (J.J.), Jesse Godsey and Andrian Cartwright; sisters; Ebony Cartwright, and Angel Cartwright; nephew, Cole Burk and nieces, Rylee and Jerri Ann Burk. Numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 2 pm from the Cochran-McDaniel Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Smith officiating. Music will be provided by the Smith family.

The family will be receiving friends at the Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home, Blue Ridge Chapel, on Saturday evening, August 3, 2024, from 6 pm to 8 pm and again on Sunday, August 4, 2024 from 1 pm until the 2 pm funeral service hour. Interment will follow the service in the Mobile Baptist Church Cemetery on Mobile Road. Pallbearers will be Merle Jackson, Hoyt Green, Jordan Cochran, Cole Burk, Colton Cochran and Wesley Cearley.
