Jeffrey Smith

Jeffrey Lynn Smith, a cherished father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2025, at the age of 56. Born on June 25, 1968.

If you met him, you loved him. Jeff had a laugh that could brighten your darkest days, a hug that could heal anything, and a way of letting you know what you meant to him and how much he loved you. 

Throughout his career, Jeff worked as a truck driver for several notable companies, loving the freedom of the open road. He found joy in the journey, whether he was behind the wheel of his truck or riding on his Harley. You could always find him laughing at the casino or spending quality time with friends and family.

Jeff is survived by his children, Tiffany Brooks and son-in-law Matt Brooks, Brittany Smith and son-in-law Michael Southern, and Tyler Smith and daughter-in-law Krystal Smith. A loving grandfather to Daggar Smith, Heaven Brooks, Jessib Southern, Nova Southern, Carolina Smith, and Houston Smith. Remembered by his siblings, Michael Smith and Kimberly Manning, who will carry his memory forward. Jeff is also survived by his best friend/dog Nashville, that he danced with every morning.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Mike Smith and Patricia Pugh.

As we reflect on Jeff's life, we remember a man who could light up a room with his presence, loved fiercely, and lived life to the fullest. His legacy will continue through the lives he touched and the countless memories shared. We will miss him terribly, but see him soon as he is simply Gone Truckin'.
