Thomas "Jeff" Mason, age 65 of Loganville, GA, formerly of Blairsville, GA, passed away Friday, July 30, 2010 at his residence.
Jeff was born May 29, 1945 in Blairsville, GA to the late Charles and Mary Jordan Mason. He was a member of Cornith Baptist Church in Loganville, GA and Future Farmers of America. He was preceded in death by brother, George L. Mason.
Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Jodie and Dick Schmidt of Madison, GA, daughter & son-in-law, Jan and Scott Steinbarger of Everett, WA, brothers, Charles Everett Mason, Robert Mason, Ronald P. Mason and Charles Jordan Mason, sisters, Flossie Leah Stebbins, Patricia Ahnawake Bowen, Austell Woody, Frankie Swanson and Nina Owenby all of GA, granddaughter, Aubrey Janousek, grandsons, Jordan Janousek and Luke Steinbarger, great-grandson, Aiden Gabriel Montgomery, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 2, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Max Suther, Alan Goins, Dale Kinnersley, and Wofford Kelley officiating. Interment will be in Providence Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday, August 1, 2010 from 4-6 P.M. at the funeral home
