Jeanette Gibson Wade

Mrs. Jeanette Gibson Wade, age 65 of Hiawassee, passed away Friday, September 2, 2016 at North East Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Wade was born March 8, 1951 in Young Harris, GA. Jeanette was a lifelong resident of Towns County and a member of Lower Bell Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Winford Gibson and her husband, Cleveland Edward Wade.

Jeanette was one of the most kind and loving people that you would ever meet. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and helping to care for elderly people. She also enjoyed gardening and, of course, BlueGrass Music.

Survivors include: mother, Margie Johnson, sons, Winford Nolan Parker, Jr., Cleveland Edward Wade, Jr., and Ricky Lynn (Dee) Wade, all of Hiawassee; sisters, Geraldine Davenport of Hayesville, NC and Angela Denise Hamilton of Hiawassee, grandchildren, Dustin Blake Parker, Joshua Allen Wade, Dakota Brock Wade, Jess Gibson, Brian Yearwood and great grandchildren, Winford Christian Parker, Caroline Vera Wade, Blakley Marie Parker, and Breeann Yvonn Wade, all of Hiawassee. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive..

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, September 4, 2016 at 4:00 pm at the Chapel of the Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee with Rev. Brian Satterfield officiating. Music will be provided by Anthony Speed Hunter. Interment will follow in The Lower Bell Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers: Winford Nolan Parker Jr., Cleveland Edward Wade Jr., Ricky Lynn Wade, Dustin Blake Parker, Joshua Allen Wade, Dakota Brock Wade. Honorary pallbearers: Jess Gibson, Brian Yearwood.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee of Hiawassee, Saturday, September 3, 2016, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
