Jeanette Barrett Walls

Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee announces Funeral Services for Mrs. Jeanette Barrett Walls, age 79, of Hiawassee, Georgia, who passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2015.

Mrs. Walls will be warmly remembered by all who knew her, but especially missed by her family: son & daughter-in-law, Rex & Sabrina Walls; daughter, Janice Walls; son & daughter-in-law, Mark & Julie Walls. Also, sharing in her legacy are grandchildren, Kimberly Hall, Chantel Walls, Dylan Walls, Jessica Carrier, Allison Walls and Jonathan Walls; and great grandchildren, Reuben James Walls, John David Walls, Camren Owenby and Lorelei Hall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben Walls; son, David Walls; grandson, James Walls; father, James H. Barrett; and a sister, Laura Jones.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee with Rev. Mike Jarrett and Rev. Jerry Vandiver officiating. Special music will be presented by the Jarrett Family and Jerry & Wanda Vandiver. The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as pallbearers: Dylan Walls, Andrew Christensen, Michael Jones, Duel Nelmes, Fred Nelmes, Jeremiah Jarrett and Dexter Williams. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 until 9 pm. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
