Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory of Blairsville announces the death and graveside services for Mrs. Jean Rich Glazier, age 86, of Blairsville, Georgia, who passed away on Sunday, November 8th, 2020.
Mrs. Glazier was a native of New York, and a daughter of the late Sidney Rich and the late Elizabeth Reid Rich. Besides her parents, she had been preceded in death by her husband, Richard Glazier, Sr., and a son-in-law, Carl Miller. Jean was a member of First Baptist Church of Blairsville.
Family members left behind to treasure the memory of Jean include: daughter, Debbie Miller; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Rhonda Glazier; and son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Lisa Glazier; sister and brother-in-law, Charleen and Robert Peyinghaus; and brother and sister-in-law, Sidney James and Marilyn Rich; grandchildren: Matthew Glazier, Nathaniel Glazier, Joshua Glazier, Jonathan Glazier, Christopher Miller, Andrew James Miller, Eric Glazier, and Chad Glazier; great grandchildren: Benjamin, William and Emma Glazier; Maci, Molli and Keegan Miller. Jean also leaves behind many treasured friends and other relatives.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., at Union Memory Gardens Cemetery. The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as pallbearers: Richard Glazier, Jr., Stephen Glazier, Chad Glazier, Eric Glazier, Chris Miller, Andy Miller, and Nathaniel Glazier. Asked to serve as honorary escort to the family are: Matthew Glazier, Jonathan Glazier, and Joshua Glazier.
