Jayne Chambers Robinson

Jayne Chambers Robinson, age 89 (formerly of Aberdeen), passed away at home on Friday, July 28, 2023, in Jasper, Georgia.  Jayne was born August 3, 1933, in Abilene, Texas.  She was the youngest of three children of John Earl Chambers and Zona Viola Stewart Chambers.  After graduation from high school, Jayne moved to Raleigh, North Carolina where she met and married her husband of 41 years, William Henry (Bill) Robinson.  In 1978, the family moved to Georgia where she lived the remaining years of her life.

Jayne was a former long-time secretary of the First Baptist Church of Aberdeen and the original owner of Aberdeen Florist.

Jayne was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry (Bill) Robinson; brother, Bobby Lynn Chambers; and sister, Mary Jim Kent.

She is survived by her three daughters, Billie J. Robinson, S. Lynn Robinson, Caroline R. (Orlando) Garcia; grandchildren, Nicolas O. Garcia, Mitchell A. (Maleah) Garcia, and Antonio R. (Anna Norman) Garcia.

A private family service will be held on August 5, 2023.
