Mr. Jay George Ware, age 84 of Akron, OH, passed away November 24, 2012. Mr. Ware was born March 11, 1928 in Fannin Co, GA to Homer and Bertha Flowers Ware. He was preceded in death by parents, Homer & Bertha Ware, sister, Elsie Ross, brother, Claude Ware, & brother, William "Bill" Ware.
Survivors include: wife, Marie Cole Ware, daughter & son-in-law, Ethelene (Danny) Ensley of McCaysville, GA, daughter, Viola Patterson of Mineral Bluff, GA., daughter & son-in-law, Devina (Cecil) Lee of Blue Ridge, GA, , son, Joseph (Lou Ann) Ware of Akron, OH, son, Billy Ware of Akron, Ohio, son, Alvin Ware of Akron, OH, brother, Lloyd Ware of Blue Ridge, brother, Atley Ware of Blue Ridge,brother, Allison Ware of KT, sister, Essie Nicholson of Blue Ridge, sister, Jessie Ruth Ware of Blue Ridge, 12 grandchildren, & 20 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the Henry Cochran Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, December 01, 2012 at 2:00pm with the Rev. Scott Ware and Rev. Darvin Couch officiating. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 30, 2012 from 6:00-9:00pm.
