Jay Franklin Wright

Jay Franklin Wright, age 72 of Blue Ridge, Ga., passed away Friday, August 3, 2007 at his home. Mr. Wright was born Saturday, October 20, 1934 in Fannin County Ga. to the late Youal Wright and the late Flossie Queen Wright. He served in the Korean Conflict in the US Air Force. Mr. Wright was of the Baptist Faith and loved to fish. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by sister, Birdie Wright also brothers, Oscar Wright and Reid Wright .

Survivors include: son, James Wright of Lafollette, TN, son, Garry Wright of Jacksboro, TN, son, Larry Wright of Jacksboro, TN, special friend, Wanda (Pinky) Thrasher of Blue Ridge. sister, Helen Ray of Tate, Ga., sister, Edith Jackson of Dalton, brother, David Wright of McCaysville, sister, Glenda Parris of Blue Ridge, granddaughter, Brittany Wright, granddaughter, Karli Wright, granddaughter, Karmin Wright, granddaughter, Chloe Wright, step granddaughter, Amber Boshers, niece and nephews,

Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 5, 2007 at 8:00PM from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Marvin Young officiating. Music will be provided by Mrs. Valerie Taylor. Interment will follow in Powell Valley Cemetery & Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8, Sunday, August 5.
