Jason Dawayne Newton

Mr. Jason Dawayne Newton, age 35 of Murphy, NC, passed away at Murphy Medical Center Tuesday January 25, 2011. Mr. Newton was born in Andrews , NC to Richard Newton and Joyce Newton Guthrie. He was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Birdell Brooks Newton.

Survivors include: father, Richard Newton, mother, Joyce Guthrie, paternal grandfather, C. B. Newton and maternal grandparents, Richard Bayless and Ruth Blundell, son, Jason Dawayne Newton Lee, daughter, Audryn Grace Newton West, Special Child, Abby West, brother, Richard Lee Bayless, brother, Jeremy Guthrie, aunt, Eva Neil Lowe also many neices and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday January 29 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Clay Eddie Hardin, Rev. Buddy King and Rev. Harold Stiles officiating. Interment will be at Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon Blundell, Justin Swanson, Mark Ferguson, Ronny Morrow, Tim Hopkins and Johnny Hopkins. Honorary pallbearers: Robie Newton and Andrew Lowe and John Chastain. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
