Jason Brad Rogers

Mr. Jason Brad Rogers, age 40 of Marble, passed away November 2, 2015 at his home. Jason was born October 8, 1975 in Andrews, NC to Jimmy D. Rogers and the late Ruth Hunnicutt Rogers. A member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, he was preceded in death by mother, Ruth Rogers. In his spare time, Jason liked to hunt and fish. He loved being outdoors and spending time with his family.

Survivors include father, Jimmy Rogers, three children, Aiden Hernandez, Christy Lackey, and Carlos Guzman, brother, Scott (Robin) Rogers, sister, Betty (Tony) Patton, two grandchildren, Lilliyn and Addison, several nieces and nephews and special friend and nana, Mary Ruth Keller.

Funeral services will be held Friday November 6, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Marble, NC with the Rev. Bo Ford officiating. He will lie-in-state at the church from 1-2 pm on Friday before the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers include, Josh Harris, J.R. Wood, Aaron Patton, Derek Patton, Carlos Guzman, and Eddie Hayes. Honorary pallbearers Wade Henson, Woody Huskins, and Chris Jumper.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home in Murphy from 7-9 pm on Thursday evening. Flowers are being accepted or you may make a donation in Jason's memory to the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Ruth Henson.
