Janis W. Setser

Janis W. Setser, age 90, of Commerce, GA, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Bountiful Hills Senior Living in Commerce, GA. Janis was born February 12, 1934, in Copperhill, TN to Floyd and Bertha Wilson.

Janis was preceded in death by her spouse, Horace Setser; mother, Bertha Wilson; father, Floyd Wilson; brothers, Olin Wilson and Alvin Wilson; and sisters, Bonell Venable and Opal Bailey.

She is survived by her nephew, John (Patricia) Venable; niece, Joan Sands; nephew, Dale Bailey; niece, Cynthia Harvey; nephew, Danny Bailey; great-niece Nathalie Venable; cousin, Elizabeth Willson Bice; and many more nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service, on Wednesday October 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Chastain Memorial Park with Rev. Matthew McDaniel officiating. 

The family will receive friends at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home & Crematory Blue Ridge Chapel on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
