Janette Barker Carpenter, age 76 of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away Friday, November 14, 2008 at Fannin Regional Hospital. Mrs.Carpenter was born Friday, April 8, 1932 in Fannin County to the late Earl Anderson and Berta Anderson. A member of Damascus Baptist church for more than 60 years. She was preceded in death by Husband Roy Lee Barker in 1980 and Husband George J Carpenter in 1992, two brothers J. E. Anderson and Franklin Anderson a Sister Geneva Cody.
Survivors include: son & daughter-in-law, Wayne & Libby Barker, Sanford FL., daughter & son-in-law, Brenda & Danny Henson, Morganton GA, mother, Berta Anderson, Blue Ridge, brother, Gene Anderson, Marietta GA., sister, Alica Cody, Blue Ridge sister, Carol Ann Jones, Canton GA., grandson, Matt Henson, granddaughter, Michelle Hufstetler, grandson, Steven Wright, great grandchildren, Sarah, Claire and Logan several nieces & nephews
Graveside Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 17, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery Rev Gerald Mathis officiating
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, November 16, 2008 from 2:00 to 9:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to Second Chance Animal Sactuary
