Mrs. Jane Butt Franks, age 54 of Gainesville, GA, formerly of Blairsville, passed away Friday, August 13, 2010 in Gainesville.
Jane was born April 30, 1956 in Hiawassee, GA to the late Robert and Betty Phillips Butt. She was a former member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Survivors include: husband, Alan Franks, step-daughters, Seantee Wilson of Ringgold, Ga and Tessy Galloway of Chatsworth, GA, brothers, Mike Butt of Jonesboro, GA and Phillip Butt of Tate, GA, sister, Elizabeth Perry of Sky Valley, GA, step-grandsons, Devin Wilson and Damon Winkler, step-granddaughter, Jada Wilson and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 15, 2010 at 4 P.M. from Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Rabern officiating. Music provided by, Randall Franks. Interment will be in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Randall Franks, Donnie Phillips, Ivan Phillips, Brock Kelley, Allen Butt and Timothy Laskey.
The family will receive friends Saturday, August 14, 2010 from 7-9 P.M. at the funeral home.
