Mr. James Vernon (JV) Pace, age 89 of Marble, passed away October 21, 2018 at the Murphy Medical Center Nursing Home. Mr. Pace was born January 18, 1929 in Cherokee County, NC to the late Roy Pace and the late Mary Newton Pace. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Hermis, Glenn, Frank, and Clarence Pace and one sister, Geneva Pace.
Survivors include wife, Deloris Farner Pace, daughter, Sheila Pace Morris, son, Bobby Pace, brother, Ed Pace, sister, Janette Pace, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at the Murphy Medical Center Nursing Home at a later date.
