The Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville announces services for James (Peanut) Rondal Brown, age 27 of Blairsville, who passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2011 in White County, Georgia.

Jamie was born March 7, 1984 in Union County, Georgia, a son to Brownie & Cheryl Brown. A member of Harvest Fellowship Church of Young Harris since November of 1994, He had a passion for God, Life and Family. Jamie graduated from Union County High School in 2002 and furthered his education by attending Lanier Technical College and earning a Certificate in Business Management and awarded the title Most Outstanding Student of the Year presented by the College President. He was AAP Certified and a proud member of the United Community Bank team, where he served as an ACH Lead Originator. He also served as a member of the Relay for Life Committee and Conductors Club. Peanut was an avid dirt track racer and played Men's Softball on great teams such as Harvest Fellowship Church & Appalachian Water. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his Grandpa, James Youngblood and his Grandparents, Rondal & Bessie Brown.

Jamie will be missed by everyone who knew him, but especially his family: His Parents, Brownie and Cheryl Brown; Daughter, Jaclyn Brown; Fiance, Melissa Nanney; future step-daughter, Katie Nanney; Grandmother, Ruby Youngblood; Uncle's, Mitch & Micky Youngblood; Uncle & Aunt, Rev. Mikey & Julia Youngblood; Aunt, Wilma Ash; Great Aunt & Uncle, Barbara & Bobby Burch; Cousins, Matt, Cody, Brittany and Victoria Youngblood and Charlie & John Ash and Greg Stephens.

Memorial services for Jamie are scheduled for Sunday, June 12, 2011, at 3:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville, with Rev. Mikey Youngblood, Rev. Shep Calhoun, and Rev. Donald Davenport officiating. Special music will be presented by The Harvest Fellowship Choir, Ray Cook, and Brandon Davenport. The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as pallbearers: Isaac Stokes, Jonathon Davenport, Justin Gwynn, Brett Owenby, Kyle Odom, and Cody Youngblood. The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as honorary escort to the family: Ronnie Barrett, Alvin Gibson, Isaac Ingram, Bill Kuykendall, David Burrell and Danny Etherton. Burial will be in Osbourn Cemetery in Hiawassee.Visitation will begin on Saturday, June 11, 2011, with the family especially meeting with friends from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A second visitation will be held prior to the service from noon until 3 P.M. on Sunday.
