James Robert Brumbelow

James Robert Brumbelow, age 93 of Morganton, passed away Friday, May 17, 2019 at Fannin Regional Hospital. Mr. Brumbelow was born April 13, 1926 in Aragon, GA to the late Horace William Brumbelow and the late Molene Daniel Brumbelow. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents and siblings, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ina Sue Ferguson Brumbelow, and grandson Ryan Brumbelow. In his spare time, James enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law James Roland (Jim) and Susan Currie Brumbelow, daughter and son-in-law Jane and Ross Benadum, three grandchildren, Kelly (Christy) Brumbelow of College Station, TX, Ben Benadum of Enterprise, AL, and Casey Benadum of Dalzell, SC, also five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 20, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Hemptown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be
Benjamin Benadum, Kelly Brumbelow, Luke Ross, Steve Ross, William Pertet, William Mubanda, and William Nichols.
The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Monday May 20, 2019 , 1:00-2:00 PM.
