Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory of Blairsville announces the death of Mr. James "Jim" Edward Limehouse, age 89, of Blairsville, who passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 in Brasstown Manor in Hiawassee, Georgia.
Mr. Limehouse was a South Carolina native, and had lived in this area since 2001, moving here from Florida. A member of Antioch Baptist Church in Blairsville, he loved his church and read his Bible daily up until just before his death. Mr. Limehouse was an unassuming person who never wanted to impose upon anyone. Jim was a stained glass and jewelry artist, and he and his wife Suzanne had taught at the William Holland Lapidary Arts School. Mr. Limehouse had been preceded in death by his first wife, Catherine Limehouse, and second wife, Suzanne Henderson Limehouse.
Family members left behind to treasure the memory of their Dad, Brother, and Grandfather are: three daughters: Celia Kay Schoeneman and husband Bill, of Virginia; Ellen Jarosz, and husband David, of Florida; and Merry Lynne Gress of Mississippi; Step-son, David Brumbaugh, and his wife Margie, of Florida; step-son, Chris Brumbaugh, and his wife, Shiela, also of Florida; step-daughter, Melissa Brumbaugh Sudduth, of Young Harris, Georgia; two brothers: Elliott Limehouse and Richard Limehouse, both of South Carolina; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren also survive.
