James Pickelsimer

James "Jimmy" Edward Pickelsimer, age 50, of Morganton, GA, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at his home. James was born July 15, 1973, in Ellijay, GA to Jim Kaylor and Helen Pickelsimer.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Jim Kaylor; and mother, Helen Pickelsimer.

He is survived by his aunt, Bonnie Ball (Guy Woody); and cousins; Marsha Jones,  Kyle Jones, Caitlin (TJ) Martin, and Rhett Martin.

Jimmy loved his dog, Ginger. He was a very quiet person who loved his job at Pickens High School and later on his job at Ingles. He loved the outdoors, camping, and hunting. James especially loved being with his family and friends, He will be missed by all who knew him.

A Gathering of Remembrance will be held, on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Henry-Cochran Funeral Home from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.
