Mr. James Larry Carter, age 67, of Copperhill, TN, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010 at the Life Care of Copper Basin. Mr.Carter was born in Rockmart, GA to James Carter and Ruby Shanks. James served in the U.S. Army and was employed by Thrall Car as a welder. He was preceded in death by son, Jamie Carter.
Survivors include: daughter, Shelly Griffith of Cartersville, GA, son, Michael Carter of Turtletown, and brother, Mike Shanks of Rockmart, GA.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
