James Landon Pickelsimer

James Landon Pickelsimer, age 78, of Morganton, GA, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021, at his home. James was born January 19, 1943, in Mineral Bluff, GA, to the late Landon Pickelsimer and Rose Bell Bowers Pickelsimer. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, and riding in the mountains. He was preceded in death by his parents, Landon and Rose Pickelsimer, brothers, Dewy Joseph Pickelsimer and G.W. Pickelsimer, niece Jackie Pickelsimer, and nephews Jimmy Pickelsimer and Landon Pickelsimer.

Survivors include: wife, Wanda Pickelsimer, son, James (Kevin York) Landon Pickelsimer, Jr. of Jefferson, GA, daughters, Angela (David) Pickelsimer Cohran of Athens, GA, Shannon Dillard Miller of Blairsville, GA, Brandie (John) Fergison Sutton of Morganton, GA, grandchildren, James Scott Caylor, John Wendell Caylor, Angela Jean Stroup, Montaina Brook Asbury, John Quince Walker, Shawn Walker, Matthew Taylor Sutton, and Evan James Asbury.
