James "Jim" H. Loftis

James "Jim" H. Loftis, age 57, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away Friday, July 14, 2023, in Jasper, GA. James was born January 7, 1966, in Copperhill, TN to the late Arnold Loftis Sr. and the late Alinda Loftis. James was preceded in death by his uncle, James Burnett; and step-father, T.W. Burke. 

He is survived by his wife, Michelle Fortner Loftis; son, Dillon Loftis; daughter, Aeriel(Rayne) Loftis; son, James Fortner; sister, Donna McClure; Brothers, Arnold David Loftis Jr., and William Robert Loftis; grandchildren, Anson Fortner and Emberlin Fortner; Mother in Law, Pat Bailey; brother-in-law, Greg McClure; brother-in-law, Jamie Montgomery and Michael Bailey; Special Uncle, Anthony Morgan; Best friend from second grade, Kelly Ray; two nieces & two nephews; two great nieces & two great nephews; one great-great niece; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

A memorial gathering is being planned for September 9, 2023 at 4:00PM at Epworth Community Club.
