James Howard Mashburn

James Howard Mashburn, age 73 of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away July 15, 2019, in Beattyville, KY. Mr. Mashburn was born November 18, 1945, in Culberson, NC to the late Rowa Mashburn and the late Amanda Iva Lee Arp Mashburn. A member of Sweetgum Baptist Church, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sister-in-law, Clifford Mashburn, Clyde Mashburn, Earl (Joyce) Mashburn, and Tommy Mashburn.

Survivors include: wife, Irene Ratcliff Mashburn; sons, Chad (Julie) Mashburn and Andrew (Amy) Mashburn; brother, Robert (Fay) Mashburn, sister, Ruth (Tommy) Townsend, sisters-in-law, Tressie Mashburn, Catherine Mashburn, and Jean Mashburn; grandchildren, Caleb (Ciarra) Mashburn, Matthew Mashburn, Charity Mashburn, Moriah Mashburn, Hannah Mashburn, and Bradley Mashburn; and great-grandchild, Graceyn Mashburn.

Funeral services: Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at 2:00 pm from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, GA with Rev. James Morris & Tommy Townsend officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery in Murphy, NC. Pallbearers: Chad Mashburn, Andrew Mashburn, Bruce Davis, Leroy Mashburn, Joe Mashburn, Brent Townsend.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, GA, Wednesday, July 17, 2019, from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
