James Hayward Justus

James Hayward Justus, age 80 of Blairsville, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011 at his home. Mr. Justus was born November 16, 1930 in Jefferson, GA to Benjamin and Lillie Mathis Justus. He had lived in Blairsville for the past 4 years, moving here from Carnesville, GA. amr. ajustus had lived in Buford, Georgia for most of his life and had worked for General Motors.

Survivors include: wife, Gwen Justus, daughter, Sharon Dudley and her husband, Randy of Carnesville, GA, daughter, Lynn Montgomery of Blairsville, daughter, Elizabeth Thomason and her husband, Tim of Round Rock, TX, sister, Ethel Puckett of Buford, GA, sister, Lorene Franklin and her husband, Felton, of Daculs, GA, sister, Ann Morgan and her husband, Bobby, of Buford, GA, sister-in-law, Pat Samples of Dahlonega, GA, sister-in-law, Margaret Pye of Blairsville and sister-in-law, Joyce Tumlin and her husband, Wayne, of Blue Ridge, GA. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; Jason Dudley and his wife, Tresa, Julie Hall and her husband, Sam, Leshay Acy, Ashley Richardson and her husband, Alec, Andrew Powers, Ayanna Ramson, Alyssia Ramson, Lessie Montgomery, Aaliyah Ramson, John Denny, Lauren Thomason, Aiden Thomason, Kayla Thomason and Leium Thomason and 4 great grandchildren; Jessica Dudley, David Thomason, Heather Davis and Hunter Dudley.

Funeral services: Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Helton officiating. Interment will be in Union Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family will recieve friends Monday evening from 6 until 9 p.m.
