Hawkins, James E. (Enoch) passed away Tuesday, February 9th, 2011. Enoch was born Augsut 3, 1921 to parents; David and Dora Raper Hawkins in Cherokee County, NC. But lived his life in Fannin County.Enoch was of Baptist faith and is survived by and lovingly remembered by; one sister, Maude Gilpin, nieces and nephews, friends.
Pre-deceased by his parents, sister, Della McDonald, sister, Ruth Falls, brother, Hermas Hawkins, brother, Leonard Hawkins, brother, Elyss Hawkins.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at the Henry Cochran Funeral Home from 6:00-9:00pm. Services for Mr. Hawkins will be on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 10:00am from the Henry Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Wehunt officiating. Interment will follow at the Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery.
