James Dennis Watson

Mr. James Dennis Watson, age 82 of Hayesville, passed away January 5, 2015 at his home in Hayesville, NC. Mr. Watson was born January 20, 1932 in Palmetto, FL to the late Clarence Earl Watson and the late Ethel Chapman Watson. He attended Free Will Baptist Church of Hayesville, He was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and served from 1950 to 1954 and 1958 to1962. He was preceded in death by father, Clarence Earl Watson, mother, Ethel Chapman Watson, brother, Perry E. Watson, and sister, Earlene Masters.

Survivors include loving wife, Nancy Lee Watson, sister, Myra E. Buchrich, 6 step children, Larry, Terry, Timmy, David, Elizabeth Hayes and Lynn Fergeson, 9 grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 9, 2015 at 4:00 pm at the Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Rumsfelt officiating. Interment will follow in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 2:00 pm with the local V.F.W. post officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Free Will Baptist Church, Friday, January 9, 2015, from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
