James "Don" Clifford

James "Don" Clifford, age 73, of Morganton, GA, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025, in Cumming, GA. Don was born February 23, 1952, in Lake Charles, LA to John Nolan Clifford and Edwina Zora Clifford.

Don was preceded in death by his father, John Clifford; mother, Edwina Clifford; and brothers, O.V. Clifford, Dan Clifford, and Mike Clifford. 

Don was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. 

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Clifford; son, Derrick Clifford; daughter, Brittany (Blake) Stites; sister, Gigi (Curtis Drummond) Clifford; and grandchildren, Nolen Urrutia, Aiden Stites, Gwendalyn Stites, and Jaxon Clifford.

Funeral Service, on Saturday March 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Military Honors by the North Georgia Honor Guard.

Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA on March 12, 2025 at 9:30 am.
