James Arvel White

Mr. James Arvel White, age 69 of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away Friday, Oct. 29, 2010 at Fannin Regional Hospital. He was born in Fannin County, GA March 17, 1941 to the late David Ulon and Florence White. He was a member of Star Creek Baptist Church, enjoyed working on cars, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brother, Tom White, sister, Bonnie Wilson, brother, Ricky White and brother, Kinneth White.

Survivors include: wife, Clida Sue White, daughter, Veatrice Lee, son, James David White, son, Michael Lee White, daughter, Tywana Kendall, sister, Edna Ames, sister, Cora Sue West, sister, Gail Brown, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010 at 2:00pm from the Henry Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Earl Pickelsimer officiating. Music provided by Terry White, Frank and Ruby Dockery. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Mineral Bluff.
Visitation will be held Sunday and Monday from 6-9 pm.
