Mr. Jackie Lee DeHart, Sr. age 61 of Murphy, passed away August 6, 2016 at his residence. Mr. DeHart was born December 27, 1954 in High Point, NC to the late William DeHart and the late Mary L. Daily DeHart. A member of Shiloh Baptist Church, he was preceded in death by father, William DeHart, mother, Mary L. DeHart and brother, Jimmy DeHart..

Survivors include: wife, Nancy W. DeHart, son & daughter-in-law, Jackie (Katrina) DeHart, Jr., daughter & son-in-law, Cynthia (David) Hull, sister, Shirley Maney, sister, Margaret Stephens and eight grandchildren.

Memorial services: Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 4:00 pm at the Shiloh Baptist Church in Tusquittee, NC with the Pastor Clark Moss and Rev. Matt Mull officiating.
