Jack Kelley

Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory of Blairsville announces funeral services for Mr. Jack H. Kelley, age 77, of Blairsville, who passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at his home.

Jack was born in Blairsville, a son of the late Bob Kelley and the late Irene Hughes Kelley. Jack had worked as a supervisor with Heritage Propane. Besides his parents, he had been preceded in death by his wife, Betty Plott Kelley; daughter, Jackie Lynn Kelley Odom; 6 Sisters, and 1 Brother.

Surviving family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Phil and Teresa Kelley; son-in-law, Rob Odom (Dana); sisters: Martha Melton and Joyce Byers; brothers: James Kelley and Bill Kelley. Grandchildren: Robyn Wilson, Katy Phillips, Jon Kelley, Levi Odom, Tonya McCarter, Lauren Taylor, Jamie McCarter; Great grandchildren: Sawyer Wilson, Sailor Wilson, Haley Hicks, Krislyn Odom, Carson Odom, Jacklyn Odom, and C.J. Odom.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Thursday, July 13, 2017, to be held at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville. Burial will be in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as pallbearers: Levi Odom, Robby Kelley, Chad Spiva, Brock Kelley, Jon Kelley, and Justin Byers. The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as honorary escort to the family: Michael Plott and Eddy Spiva. The family will have visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday night, July 12, 2017, between the hours of 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
