Inez Lucille Hahn Rohler passed to a new life on January 8, 2016 in Copperhill, TN. She was born to Alva Ora and Marie Ann Hahn on April 23, 1924 in Bennett, CO. After graduating from Bennett High School, she attended Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Denver, CO where she graduated and started practicing as a Registered Nurse in 1947. She married Charles William "Bill" Rohler in 1949 and they were happily married for 60 years and were wonderful parents to their four children. Together they enjoyed golfing, traveling, and entertaining friends. They lived many years in Broken Arrow, OK and were members of First United Methodist Church of Broken Arrow. For the past four and a half years, Inez lived in Lawrenceville, Georgia where she became actively involved in an independent retirement community.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Earl, and husband Bill. Survivors include daughter Jan (David) Watkins of Dacula, GA, son Richard (Georgia) Rohler, of Ft. Myers, FL, daughter Ann (Leland) Rymer of Copperhill, TN, and son Robert Rohler of South Prairie, WA. Grandchildren include Kyle (Jodie) Watkins, Evan (Elizabeth) Watkins, Liz Watkins, Colin (Jessi) Rymer, Hayley Rymer, Bill (Crystal) Rohler, and Kaylee Rohler. Inez was great-grandmother to four great-granddaughters: Kylie, Kalynn, and Kara Watkins and Beatrix Rymer. Several nieces and nephews in Colorado and Texas also survive her.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 17 at Garden Plaza of Lawrenceville. Interment will be at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church of Broken Arrow at 112 East College St, Broken Arrow, OK 74012 or the American Heart Association.
