Mr. Hugh Gerhart, Jr., age 73 of Young Harris, GA, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at North East Georgia Medical Center.
Mr. Gerhart was born Wednesday, October 10, 1934 in Cuyahoga County, OH to the late Hugh Matthew Gerhart, Sr and the late Henrietta Schmall Gerhart. He was a member of McConnell Memorial Baptist Church and an U.S. Air Force Veteran. Hugh and Phyllis were owners of R.F. Truesdell Trucking Company in Fl and Ga and were also owners of Epic Laser Car Wash in Young Harris, GA .
Survivors include: wife, Phyllis Gerhart of Young Harris, GA, daughter, Beth Miller of Young Harris, GA, daughter & son-in-law, Gretchen and Keith Ellis of Acworth, GA, son, Hugh M. Gerhart, III, MD, grandchildren, Jordan and Jamie Ellis, Justin and Phillip Miller, sister, Marilyn McKee of West Lake , OH.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 4:00 P.M. from the McConnell Memorial Baptist Church with Dr. Rudy Patton officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to America Heart Association or American Kidney Foundation.
The Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
